Reset your business in alignment with the new moon

I’m a little late in sharing this post as the New Moon came on 21st October but I thought it was still worth the share to help you understand how you can reset your business in alignment with the next new moon. October shared with the Libra new moon which arrives like a deep breath. An invitation to pause, recalibrate and step into balance. New moons represent the flow of new beginnings, seed sewing and intention setting. If that sounds like your kind of thing, keep reading to see how you can make it work for your business.

Why the New Moon Matters for Your Business

This final stretch of the year can feel heavy and, for some of us, it feels like a lot of pressure. We’ve been pushing all year long to achieve our goals and create space for our businesses to thrive, but the Libra New Moon arrives to remind us that success doesn’t have to be chaotic or draining. Balance is the key.

This is your moment to:
- Let go of what doesn’t serve you.
- Map out the growth you really want (not just what everyone else is doing)
- Set clear, aligned intentions for the next quarter.

When you start getting aligned with your own goals rather than trends or comparison, your business starts to feel like it’s actually working with you, not against you.

A Fresh Start for Q4

Think of this as your lunar reset switch. Q4 isn’t for us to think about finishing strong, but about finishing aligned and content.

Take a moment to journal or reflect on these questions?

  • What services or offers have felt heavy this year?

  • In what ways do you feel like your business is challenging, rather than working with, your personal values?

  • What would feel lighter if you simply released it?

a practical activity

Here’s a step by step guide to set your intentions in alignment with your energy and values.

  1. Light a candle, put on calming music, or simply take a deep breath - whatever feels comfortable to you but puts you in a space that you can focus on this and this alone.

  2. If you haven’t already, do some journalling to help you understand the answer to the questions above. It’s really important to understand what you’re ready to let go of before we move into the next quarter.

  3. Ask yourself, if you had the opportunity to achieve one thing by the end of this year, what would that be?

  4. Based on the one thing you want to achieve, break it down into 1-3 business intentions (or goals) for Q4. Keep them clear and simple but also specific. (Read my post on setting SMART goals if you’re struggling with this)

Want a little extra help with this? I’ve created a printable Intention Setting Journal that you can download for free.

If you’re ready to reset your strategy and step into Q4 with clarity and confidence, this is the time to do it. Let’s map out your growth together, align your strategy and create a plan that helps you to feel calm and ready to claim the next quarter as your own.
